Traumatic Brain Injuries

Due to the myriad functions of the human brain, predicting the effects of a brain or closed head injury is almost impossible. Two people could have an almost identical injury to the exact same area of the brain or head and have it affect them in two completely different ways. Brain damage can also have effects on the victim that aren’t immediately obvious. Memory loss or behavioral and impulse control issues are both examples of hidden damage. Because of this lack of visibility, insurance companies or liable parties will often claim that there is no brain damage at all.
