A Chesapeake, Virginia (VA) resident died when the 2005 Pontiac he was riding in crashed on Ballahack Road, according to The Virginian-Pilot. He was only 23 years old.
The Pontiac was going east around 5 pm on a Monday when the car overturned, trapping the driver and him. Police are investigating whether speed was a factor in the car wreck.
The man killed in this car accident was a sailor who just completed his second year of service with the Navy. The Navy assigned him to the aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower, based out of Norfolk Naval Station. He lived in a small Virginia neighborhood off Ballahack Road.
