Andrew R. Stover

Andrew Stover limits his law practice exclusively to personal injury law. He is a native of Joliet, Illinois, where he attended high school at Joliet Catholic Academy and served as the captain of the golf team. Andrew graduated college from the University of Missouri-Columbia before studying law at Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia. While studying law in Lexington, Andrew served on the Student Judicial Council and the Journal for Civil Rights and Social Justice.

Upon law school graduation, he sought out and was hired for a prestigious two-year judicial clerkship with the Virginia Beach Circuit Court, apprenticing for the circuit court trial judges. Two of his mentor judges were prior partners at Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp law firm, and another has since been elected to serve on the Virginia Court of Appeals, which hears both civil and criminal appeals from throughout Virginia. During his clerkship, he conducted legal research and drafted portions of legal opinions for all of the circuit judges, besides observing civil and criminal hearings and trials as a law clerk.

Andrew is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Virginia Beach Bar Association. When away from the office, he enjoys golfing and skiing.
