Six Injured in Head-On Collision

Six people were injured after a head-on collision in North Carolina this weekend. According to the Salisbury Post, the accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday night when a Hyundai traveled north on N.C. 801 collided with a Ford heading south. Norfolk Southern Corp. Ordered to Pay Damages to NC Man for Workplace Injuries

A federal agency has ordered Norfolk Southern Corp. to pay more $122,000 in compensatory and punitive damages and attorney’s fees as a result of showing reckless disregard for a former employee’s rights under the Federal Railroad Safety Act.
